About Me

Justin Mendoza was born in August of 1997 in Brooklyn, NY. Growing up in Brooklyn I spent a large time reading and immersing myself in books and poems featured from authors such as Edgar Allan Poe & Sylvia Plath. I lived in the city that never sleeps until the age of 15 before moving to Allentown, PA. It was here that the love for poetry fully blossomed with opportunities through his new friends and teachers.

Networking over the years gave me the ability to establish wonderful connections that eventually lead to being published through Thirty West Publishing House. However, before becoming a two time published author, my roots came from the influence of my two former english teachers from Parkland High School. It was here that I assumed the responsibility of being the lead editor at the Parkland's Literature Magazine Club. The role of being a lead editor for Parkland and the convenience of attending college locally  lead me to attend Lehigh Carbon Community College (LCCC) in the Fall of 2015.

Here at LCCC, I was able to obtain his Associates of Arts (AA) in General Studies, while simultaneously working for various employers over the years. Throughout the work experience I realized that I enjoyed picking up new and different skills in order to make myself a jack of all trades. While looking to build on my skills and my AA, I chose to transfer to Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania. It was at Bloomsburg University that I continued to build on my organizational skills by majoring in Communication Studies while having an emphasis in Psychology. After graduating Bloomsburg University with my BA in Communication Studies in May of 2021, I will continue onto the workforce as an Administrative Assistant for New Jersey Mobile HealthCare in Mahwah, NJ.
